How to Get More Google Reviews
Direct answer
Ask at the right moment, make it a one-tap link, and follow up once. That's most of it for a chiropractic business.
See recommended software1. Ask right after the job, not days later
The best time to ask is the moment a customer's satisfaction is highest, right after the job is done and working, not a generic delayed email days later. For chiropractic businesses specifically: Same constraint as dental and med spa: a chiropractic clinic can never confirm someone is a patient or add clinical detail in a public reply. Chiro adds its own wrinkle, ongoing-treatment patients often leave reviews mid-course, so a reply must stay generic even when the star rating references treatment that hasn't concluded.
2. Send a direct link, not a search instruction
Send a direct link straight to your Google review form (your Business Profile's review link), not "search us on Google and leave a review." Every extra step loses people.
3. Follow up once, not repeatedly
A single, polite follow-up a few days later catches people who meant to but forgot. Repeated requests read as pushy and can violate Google's review policies if automated too aggressively.
4. Never offer an incentive for a review
Google's policies prohibit offering money, discounts or gifts in exchange for a review, and it's a real risk to your Business Profile if caught. Ask for honest feedback, not a positive one.
HIPAA-safe reply rules
A review request itself is fine under HIPAA, the constraint is on how you REPLY publicly, see our reply guide. Don't let review-request automation also auto-post a reply that confirms someone as a patient.
Software that helps
Review Dingo is our recommended pick for chiropractic clinics.
